This policy explains what information Advanty collects when you use our AI receptionist service — either as the business that hires us, or as someone calling one of our client's phone numbers — and what we do with it.
Advanty provides an AI voice receptionist and booking system to businesses ("our customers"). This policy covers two groups of people: our customers, and the people who call our customers' phone numbers ("callers"). Each customer is responsible for telling their own callers that calls may be answered by an AI receptionist and may be recorded and transcribed, in line with applicable law.
When someone calls a number connected to Advanty's service, we collect:
From our customers, we collect the business information needed to set up and run the service — business name, services offered, hours, staff names used in the call flow, booking system details, and contact and billing information.
When you book a call with us through our own scheduling page, our scheduling provider (Calendly) collects your name, email address, and the time you select.
We do not sell caller or customer data, and we do not use call content for advertising.
We use third-party providers to deliver the service — including telephony and AI voice processing providers to handle and transcribe calls, messaging providers to send SMS confirmations, and Calendly to run our own booking page. These providers process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. We share caller and booking data with the specific business a caller contacted, since that business needs it to manage the appointment.
We keep call recordings, transcripts, and booking data for as long as our customer's account is active, so the business can refer back to past calls and bookings. If a customer cancels their account, we delete or de-identify their call data within a reasonable period afterward, and sooner on request.
You can ask us what data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@advanty.com.au. If you're a caller and your request relates to a specific business's phone line, we may need to loop in that business, since they're the ones who hold the underlying customer relationship.
We use reputable, security-vetted providers for telephony, AI processing, and messaging, and we limit access to call data to what's needed to run the service. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the data we hold.
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
